Josh Beachell

ACCOMPANIST

Josh studied Music at the University of Manchester, graduating with First Class Honours. He has an ABRSM Diploma in clarinet, and also plays saxophone, piano, and bass guitar.

Josh is currently principle clarinettist of the Sherborne Symphony Orchestra, co-principal of the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra, and has played with the Nottingham, Norfolk, and University of Manchester symphony orchestras.

Aside from clarinet, Josh has recently MD’d three shows at Ashfield School and is an accompanist for Cantamus Girls’ Choir and the Ashfield School Choir.

Josh has worked in education ever since training to become a teacher at Norwich School in 2019 and is currently Head of Music at Ashfield School.
