All staff of Cantamus and the members of the Cantamus Committee are grateful for the parents and friends who volunteered to help throughout the day, particularly to Mrs Bev Ward who organised and coordinated the whole day. Bev ensured that there were enough volunteers to ensure that all duties/stalls/food stations were covered at all times. Without the help and support of Bev, all the volunteers and of course everyone who came to support the choir, this event would not have been as successful as it was.

We raised an amazing amount of money from all your efforts in the dining area and entrance halls as well as the contribution of gifts from parents and friends gave to enable Alison Rodger to make up some wonderful Hampers.  Donations from local companies as well as parents and friends also helped supply the Tombola stall with a wide range of prizes to suit all age groups.

One of the winning Raffle Prizes was a beautiful Hot Diamond necklace that was very generously donated by Chapelle Jewellery. Other local companies who donated prizes were: Tesco (Chesterfield Road) donated £10 gift voucher; Chapelle Jewellery donated £10 voucher; Boots of Nottingham donated gift sets and toiletries.

Samworth Academy gave their permission for Cantamus to use 4 stationary bikes to Cycle to Graz. Elliot Mather Solicitors agreed to donate £250 if the 845 miles to Graz was achieved during the day. Girls, parents, family and friends were encouraged to use the bikes to help us achieve this and they did! Senior Girls on BikesCycle to GrazParents on bikesAsh and LivLaura and Liv
